    1 - Welcome & Warm-up

Warm-up (30 seconds): Think about your opening line for your pitch. What's the one sentence that will grab attention about your Something Real project?

By the end of this lesson, you will be able to:

    • Demonstrate your complete Something Real project through a live 2-minute pitch
    • Walk through your Digital Portfolio showing all 10 weeks of work
    • Reflect on your learning journey and connect it to your future goals

This is your moment — you've built something real over 10 weeks. Today you present it.

    2 - Pitch Day Structure

    Today's Flow (60 minutes total):

    • 5 min: Final pitch deck polish (fix typos, check flow)
    • 15 min: Practice your 2-minute pitch delivery
    • 25 min: Live pitches (class time, teacher 1:1, or recorded submission)
    • 10 min: Portfolio walkthrough + peer/self feedback
    • 5 min: Final reflection

    Pitch Success Checklist:

    • Time: Exactly 2 minutes (practice with timer)
    • Structure: Hook → What → Why → Numbers → Ask
    • Delivery: Eye contact, clear voice, no reading slides
    • Visuals: Clean slides, readable text, your chart prominent

Pro Tip: Your first line should be conversational: 'Imagine if our year could...' or 'What if we could raise €500 for...'

3 - Final Pitch Deck Polish

Final check of your Lesson 9 pitch deck. Fix typos, improve flow, ensure your chart from Lesson 7 is prominent. Save as PDF for sharing.

    4 - Practice Your 2-minute Pitch

Option 1 (Recommended): Pair up with a classmate. Deliver your pitch while they time you (exactly 2 minutes) and give feedback on:

    • Did you hit the Hook → What → Why → Numbers → Ask structure?
    • Was your chart the star of the show?
    • Eye contact and clear voice (1-10)?

Option 2 (Solo Recording): Record yourself delivering the pitch:

    1. Phone: Open Camera app → Video mode → Prop phone on books → Start recording → Deliver pitch → Stop at 2:00
    2. Computer: Windows (Search 'Camera'), Mac (Photo Booth), Chromebook (Camera app) → Record 2-minute pitch
    3. Review: Watch/listen. Note 2 things to improve (pace? volume? eye contact?)

Practice 2-3 times until you hit exactly 2:00 with confident delivery.
