Coding, AI and robotics workshops for secondary schools

Hands-on workshops we run in your school. Each one shows the year groups it suits.

Race Autonomous Cars

A team challenge: students program autonomous cars to race around a track, tweaking their code between runs to set the fastest lap.

  • 1st–3rd Year
  • 60 minutes · Team-based · Hands-on

How the workshops fit Junior Cycle and TY

Junior Cycle

Schools can offer the Coding short course, about 100 hours across the three years of junior cycle, with teamwork encouraged throughout. A workshop gives a class a practical start, or a feel for coding before a school takes the course on.

Transition Year

Each school designs its own TY programme, combining subjects, subject sampling, TY modules and other components. A workshop gives a TY group a hands-on day of coding, AI or robotics.
