  2. Apply learning strategies, such as mnemonic tricks and counting techniques, to memorise and recall everyday language elements like family terms and sounds.
  3. Compare and contrast cultural stories, songs, dances, routines, and traditions from Ireland and global contexts to demonstrate intercultural awareness.
  4. Recognise and describe weather, seasons, and community languages using appropriate vocabulary and respectful language for differences.
  5. Engage in basic conversations by connecting daily words and shared traditions to build confidence in multilingual interactions.
