LC Biology: Running the Biology in Practice Investigation

A two-and-a-half-hour course for Leaving Certificate Biology teachers on the Biology in Practice Investigation. For this year's sixth years it is worth 200 marks, 40% of the subject, and the reports are due to their teachers by Friday 26 February 2027. It takes the NCCA guidelines' six stages one by one, from the initial response to the brief to the final report, and shows how to run supervised experiment sessions for a whole class, keep each student's design their own, and authenticate the work under the SEC's Coursework Rules and Procedures, including referencing and AI use.
