This CPD equips teachers to deliver LCA Mathematical Applications with confidence. The Mathematical Concepts and Skills are the course-wide outcomes; each module practises them through a different context. Participants walk all four SEC modules, identify which MCS strands each leans on hardest, and plan teaching of content areas they report as least confident.

One Key Assignment per module, each a mathematical case study following a prescribed five-stage cycle, each evidenced from a portfolio. Participants learn to choose a sustaining context, scaffold portfolio evidence across thirty lessons, and judge a sample portfolio consistently against the SEC Key Assignment statement.

Ten of the fourteen credits sit in a 2-hour written examination taken by students with a history of not doing well in examinations. Participants prepare an examination-shy cohort with contextual problems, sequence two years of delivery with cross-LCA integration, re-take the confidence audit, and commit to first-term implementation intentions.
