Students identify a bug as an incorrect step in everyday sequences like getting dressed. They use picture step cards to spot the mistake and reorder the steps to make the task work properly.

    Remember those stuck feet? A wrong step like that is called a bug.

    Soon we will look at the picture cards and find the bug together.

    3 - Watch Me Spot the Bug ~5 mins

    Watch the picture cards on the floor. One step is in the wrong place. Which one looks wrong?

    4 - Act It, Spot It, Fix It ~13 mins

    Your turn! Act the silly steps. Freeze when you spot the bug. Help put the cards right. Then act it the smooth way.

    5 - We Spotted It and Put It Right ~4 mins

    Talk together: What was our bug today? What did we swap? How did it feel when the steps worked?

    A person who fixes bikes checks the steps and puts wrong ones right, just like we did with socks and shoes.
