Module 2 ends today. You have researched online, written a digital safety charter, studied a global platform, and thought hard about who you are on a screen.
Today you finish M2 KA4: look back at your own evidence, write Reflective Journal Entry 6 about Module 2 and workplace experience, then say the heart of that entry out loud.
Must finish before you leave: the final text of Entry 6 in your Reflective Journal (if the journal is in the room) and the same final copy in your Communication Portfolio. That pair is the KA4 evidence.
A strong module entry does three jobs: it names what you now know, it says what you do differently, and it links that change to real life, including work.
| Term | What it means for you | Real example |
|---|---|---|
| Workplace experience: placement or workplace contact through VPG | Use one concrete workplace moment about phones, posts, or privacy | Staff told not to film customers on shift |
| Module reflection: looking back across weeks of work | Write what changed, not a list of lesson titles | I stopped treating privacy settings as optional after the charter work |
| Digital self: you online, at school and at work | Say how work made that self feel more public | Checking a public profile before a placement |
Invented student voice: When Module 2 started I treated my phone as private. On my VPG café placement my supervisor said customer faces never go on stories. That one rule made workplace digital identity real. For KA1 I rejected a site with no author and no date. I still use the six source checks from KA1 when I search for school. The charter clause I wrote about asking before sharing photos is the one I would keep. Module 3 needs me to read how media frames a story, not only whether a page looks trustworthy.
Notice: one workplace moment, one research habit, one charter choice, one clear next step.
Before you write, gather evidence from your own Module 2 work. Rate each line honestly and name the piece or moment that proves it. A rating with no evidence does not count.
Your four Module 2 KAs:
The ratings on screen are not saved. When you finish, press Copy for my portfolio and paste them into Enter Your Work to keep them.
This is the piece that completes M2 KA4.
Must finish, in this order:
m2_l60_journal_entry_6_JM (use your own initials)M2 KA4 evidence = final Reflective Journal Entry 6 + the same final copy in your Communication Portfolio. KA4 is not complete until that Portfolio copy exists.
Use the activity below as your working draft. If time allows after the three must-finish items, mark weak spots and polish those parts in place (do not start a second full rewrite from scratch).
Time rule: only start this step after the Portfolio copy of Entry 6 is saved. If less than five minutes remain in the period, stop after the bank and skip or postpone the partner delivery. Skipping it does not affect M2 KA4.
Take the heart of the entry you just wrote and say it aloud to a partner. Speak it; do not read the full page. This is speaking practice. It is not the M2 KA4 evidence (that is Entry 6 and its Portfolio copy).
