    1 - Step 1: Gather Data Piles

Begin by collecting different objects from around your home or classroom. These objects can include toys, pencils, erasers, or any other small items.

Make sure you have at least 20 objects in total.

Place all the objects in a pile on a table or the floor, so you can easily see and sort them.

    2 - Step 2: Observe the Data

Take a close look at the objects you collected.

Pay attention to their different characteristics, such as color, size, and shape. For example, you might have a red ball, a small blue square, and a large green triangle.

Notice these differences and think about how you can group the objects based on these characteristics.

    3 - Step 3: Sort by Color

In this step, you will sort the objects into groups based on their color. To do this, follow these instructions:

    1. Look at all the objects in your data pile.
    2. Identify the different colors present in the objects.
    3. Choose one color and find all the objects with that color.
    4. Place all the objects of the same color together in a separate pile or area.
    5. Repeat this process for each color until all the objects are sorted into groups based on their color.

    4 - Step 4: Sort by Size

In this step, you will sort the objects into groups based on their size. To do this, follow these instructions:

    1. Look at all the objects in your data pile.
    2. Find the smallest object and place it in a separate area.
    3. Continue to find objects that are the same size as the smallest object and place them together in the same area.
    4. Next, find the medium-sized objects and place them in a different area.
    5. Group all the medium-sized objects together in that area.
    6. Finally, find the largest objects and place them in another separate area.
    7. Group all the largest objects together in that area.

Now you have sorted the objects into three groups based on their size: small, medium, and large.
