Your teacher will show a map of Ireland on the board. Volunteers will point; we all say the county together after the teacher names each Gaeltacht area.
Irish season words look tricky: say them big and proud together. Flip each card, listen, and echo the word as a class.
After each echo, look across the languages on the card: which other language looks closest to Irish, or closest to English?
Bridge to the map hunt: many families go to places like Corca Dhuibhne or An Cheathrú Rua in an samhradh (summer). Those are Gaeltacht areas you will find on the map next.
