    1 - Hello

Hello young wizard! Today, we're diving into the world of Excel to learn about workbooks. Imagine a workbook as a magical book where you can store all your data, like numbers, words, and even pictures. Just like a diary or journal, you can create a new workbook and save it, so you can come back to it later.

    2 - Creating a New Workbook

Are you excited for this part?

First of all, we need to double click on excel to open it. When you open Excel, you'll see a blank page. This is your new workbook, waiting for you to fill it with your data.

    Entering Data
Click on any of the small boxes, which we call 'cells', and start typing. You can write anything - your name, your favourite colour, or even a list of your favourite books.

    3 - Saving Your Workbook

Once you've added some data, it's time to save your workbook.
Click on 'File' in the top left corner.
        Choose 'Save As'.
Pick a place on your computer where you want to save it.
Give your workbook a name. Maybe something like "My First Excel Workbook".
        Click 'Save'.

4 - Practice with Formatting and Useful Editing. FIll and Add

    Fill
What it does: The fill tool lets you quickly make a list of numbers or repeat the same thing in many boxes.

How to do it: Let's say you write "1" in the first box (A1) and "2" in the box below it (A2). Now, click and hold the tiny square at the bottom corner of the box with "2" and drag it down. You'll see the numbers keep going like 3, 4, 5, and so on!

    Add

What it does: You can use Excel to add numbers together, just like in maths class!

How to do it: If you have a number in the first box (A1) and another number in the box below it (A2), go to the next box (A3) and type =A1+A2. Then press the big key that says "Enter". Ta-da! You'll see the answer in the box.
