    1 - Welcome back!

Hello young wizard! 🧙‍♂️ Welcome to our magical journey into the world of Excel. Just like a wizard has spells, in Excel, we have formulas and functions.

Today, we will dive deep into the basics of these powerful tools. Remember, every great wizard started with the basics, and so will you. Let's embark on this enchanting journey together!

2 - What You Already Know

You've already learned about cells, rows, and columns in Excel. Think of them as the ingredients for our magical potions. Now, we're going to learn how to mix these ingredients to create magic!

    3 - What are Formulas?

In Excel, a formula is like a magic spell. It's a way for us to give instructions to Excel about what we want it to do. For example, if we want to add two numbers together, we use a formula.

    Example:
Imagine you have 5 apples 🍎 and your friend gives you 3 more. How many do you have in total? In Excel, you'd write this as =5+3. The answer, of course, is 8 apples!

4 - Starting with the Equals Sign (=)

Every spell in Excel starts with an equals sign (=). This tells Excel, "Hey, I'm about to cast a spell (or use a formula)!"

    Example:
=10-2 will give us the result 8.
