1 - Introduction to Types of Charts

Today, we're going to explore different types of charts! Charts help us understand and visualize data in a fun and easy way. By the end of this lesson, you'll create a chart collage showcasing the different types of charts you've learned about!

2 - Bar Charts

Let's start with bar charts! Bar charts use bars to represent data. The height or length of the bars shows the value of the data. Bar charts can be vertical or horizontal. Look at the examples of bar charts provided in your classroom and observe how they represent data.

Next, we have pie charts! Pie charts are circular and divided into slices, like a pizza. Each slice represents a part of the data, and the size of the slice shows the value of that part. Look at the examples of pie charts provided in your classroom and observe how they represent data.
