Before we start, gather the following supplies: paper, pencils, a ruler, a protractor, coloring materials, and a list of your favorite fruits (with the number of times you eat each fruit in a week).
Using your pencil and a round object as a guide, draw a large circle on your paper. This circle will be the base of your pie chart.
Count the total number of times you eat all your favorite fruits in a week. Then, for each fruit, calculate the percentage it represents by dividing the number of times you eat it by the total number and multiplying by 100.
Now, convert the percentages of each fruit into degrees. To do this, multiply the percentage by 3.6. This will give you the number of degrees each fruit will take up in your pie chart.
Using your protractor and pencil, draw the pie slices for each fruit according to the degrees you calculated in the previous step. Start at the top of the circle and work your way around clockwise.
