Online Summer Camps

This summer we are running Coding and Robotics camps for the age groups 7 - 10 and 11 - 14 year olds. These are online camps and all you need is a computer or laptop to join in 👍😃

Each day we will be doing coding & STEM projects, sharing our work and having fun competitions & quizzes.

Log in each day to join in the fun, no extra software is needed, just a computer/laptop and a web browser.

The recordings of each class as well as the step by step instructions of all the projects will be available just in case you can’t make the live classes!

Is this an in person camp or an online camp?

Our Summer Camps are online camps where children will join the live classes each day using their computer or laptop. The Coding Ireland instructors will be broadcasting live and taking the children through the day's projects.

What do I need to join in?

All the children will need is a computer or laptop. Each day you just need to log into our website www.codingireland.ie and you will be brought to the live class for the day. No other software is needed.

What happens if I miss the live class?

Each class will be recorded and we will send out emails with the recording and the day's projects to all the students so you can watch and do them later.

What the difference between the "Coding Camp" and the "Robotics Camp"?

In the Robotics Camp, as well as doing coding projects on our computers, the children will each get a micro computer and a robot car kit in the post. We will doing projects with these in the camp and the children get to keep them!

Do I need a webcam?

No, the only people that will be sharing their camera are the Coding Ireland instructors.

How do the children interact in the camp?

There is a live chat feed where the children can chat and enter reactions. We will be doing spot quizzes and giving away prizes each day. Children will also be able to see each other's projects and like and comment.

What time are the camps on at?

The 7-10 year old camps are on at 10:00-11:30am Monday to Friday. The 11-14 year old camps are on at 12:00-1:30pm Monday to Friday. Please see the Camp Info tab on this page for the camp dates.

What age groups are the camps for?

There are two different age groups:

  • 7-10 year olds
  • 11-14 year olds

Do you have a family discount?

Yes, families that have 2 or more children attending are eligible for a 25% discount. Please email us at info@codingireland.ie and we will send you on a discount code.
